Before we dive in, I’d like to dedicate this blog to the entire TYPO3 community—every individual who contributes and gives back, helping spread the word about TYPO3 globally.

Measuring the TYPO3 community isn’t straightforward, as there’s no clear boundary for inclusion. However, we chose to leverage various platforms where TYPO3 enthusiasts are actively engaged—like LinkedIn—to gain insights into the number of individuals associated with TYPO3.

Using LinkedIn Sales Navigator to search for “TYPO3” yielded profiles mentioning TYPO3, although this includes potential false positives (inactive individuals) and false negatives (those not explicitly mentioning TYPO3).

In our analysis, we refer to the “TYPO3 community” and “TYPO3 people” for a broader understanding, as the search results may not fully capture the landscape.

LinkedIn is a vital platform for the TYPO3 community to showcase skills, share knowledge, and connect. There are over 47000+ profiles listing TYPO3 as a primary skill, encompassing a diverse range of professionals from web developers to project managers.

The search for the keyword “TYPO3” yields approximately 47000+ results.

LinkedIn imposes a resolution cap of 1,000 for counts exceeding that number, so any reported figures are estimates rather than precise counts. Although not all individuals counted are TYPO3 developers or actively engaged with the CMS, this number provides a useful indication of the community’s growth.
